How It Works
Witchcraft is a spiritual system that encourages free thought and free will, understanding of the earth and nature, most importantly, however, it teaches responsibility. A Wiccan reading with one of our witches will help you to take ownership of shortcomings, weaknesses, or mistakes instead of blaming others. Join our witches chat today to bring healing, love, harmony, wisdom, and creativity back into your life.
While some witches cast spells, the most common tools used are tarot cards and energy readings. Since a common Wiccan belief is that what is sent out is returned to the sender threefold, Witches are very careful when it comes to casting spells. Wicca stands on the belief that with the proper training and intention, we can use the natural psychic power to perform all the magic and miracles we're ever likely to need.
While these two terms may be considered interchangeable by some followers of Wicca, others view them as completely different. Simply put, some Wiccans identify as Witches, while other Wiccans do not. The reason some Wiccans do not consider themselves Witches, is becasue they don’t practice magic, which is the part that most people associate with “Witchcraft.” They worship the Gods and Goddesses, celebrate the Wheel of the Year, and live in harmony with nature, but they don’t actively try to harness the energies at work in the Universe to bring about change in their lives. Therefore, these kins of Wiccans would not be considered Witches.
Despite the availability of comprehensive information about Wicca, there are still many people under the wrong impression that Wicca is connected with “Satanism” or “devil-worship.” If you or someone you know is worried about this possibility, please relax! You have nothing to worry about as Wicca and Satanism have nothing to do with each other. This idea is nothing but an old misconception stemming from religious intolerance.
