Dear Melodie and Chrisalis:

I've been training for a management position within my present job. I am starting to worry that I won't be able to rise to the level of competency needed in the next few months. Is there anything I can do to help me accomplish my goals? ~ PR

Hi PR:

I pulled three cards for you just see what the next three months will hold. These were the Eight of Swords, Eight of Pentacles and Two of Wands.



They seem to fit the context of your question very well, with the first card (Eight of Swords) aptly describing your fear of being unprepared. This card is often associated with self-imposed limitations and I would say in this case your fears are holding you back more than anything else.

Fortunately the next card is the apprenticeship card, the Eight of Pentacles, which reminds you that you’re learning. You’re not supposed to be ready just yet; that’s why you’re in training. Use this time to hone your skills, knowing that those who had enough faith in you to make this recommendation in the first place expect you to need this time.

The outcome card is the Two of Wands which is all about putting a plan into action and gathering momentum. If the expectation for you to be ready is roughly three months, I’d say you’re right on track. Remember that this is a process and not an event, you’re evolving into this role which does take some time. Chrisalis here and thank you for your question.

I had a look at your chart and the transits coming up for you. The first thing that struck me was your Saturn return which happened in 2018. As your natal Saturn is conjunct Neptune, you may have felt you were not seeing what you needed to do next and this made you nervous about the future.



Let me assure you have a very strong Saturn in your chart which is trining your Mars in Virgo. As trines are very positive and harmonious aspects, you can accomplish almost anything you set your mind to!

Over the next few weeks you will be blessed with two transits which will be of help to you. The first is Jupiter forming a trine to your Mercury.

This shows you will be in a more positive frame of mind and your current situation at work will be seen in a new light. Following soon after on March 23rd through April 6th, your Venus will receive a trine from Saturn
