The main astrological events of the year 2023

First of all we will talk about the Sun, which will have 4 eclipses this year, the first one and most important being on April 28 and being seen in South East Asia, Australia, Pacific, Indian Ocean and Anctartica. The Sun will be in Aries and after the eclipse, it will move right away to the sign of Taurus, meaning an important symbolic shift from the element Fire to the element Earth. This change will bring to the collective more calmness, more reflection and a more practical way to face things, rather than the impulsiveness of Aries.



Decisions in the world will need peace, objectivity, and will have to be convenient for the parties involved. The collective will shift towards a more peaceful attitude, and a wish to fix things rather than start wars or arguments. Also, there will be a need to rebuild what has been destroyed or not built well in the past, this time with a solid basis. For those who are on a manifestation journey, this eclipse will surely give patience to see it through, patience to not give up and trust the timings of the universe, and consistency to work hard, letting go of the fire energies of impulsiveness that no longer are serving on the path.



Another eclipse, this time not total but penumbral, will take place on May 5th and 6th, and it will be seen in Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa, Pacific, Atlantic, Indian Ocean, Anctartica. This will happen when the Sun is in Taurus and the Moon in Virgo, so a lot of Earth energies again here, emphasizing the energies of the first eclipse and giving it a sort of upgrade. The consciousness reached with the first eclipse that was visible only by a few people, at start, will be more evident, and some small results of the change of attitude will be evident. There will be a general tendency of weighing things up, and considering the pros and the cons before taking a decision.



Also, it will be a very good time for the stock market and the trades in general, the Earth energies will give it a boost, and a very profitable time to make deals. The last eclipse will be annular, on oct 18th and it will be in Libra. As the conclusion of a cycle which was all about restoring peace in a turbulent vibration, this eclipse finally gives balance, and it’s right before the last eclipse of the year, this time of Moon, on oct 28th and 29th. Again in Taurus, to highlight the powerful energy of Earth in this year of renewal, and right before the esoteric date of Samhain on oct 31, marking the beginning of a new manifesting year, with the patience and the solid basis achieved during the previous eclipses.



Talking about the cosmic energies of love, Venus will be square Uranus on feb 21. Some strange things will take place, but it’s because destiny is at work and huge changes are on the way. Sometimes, as they say, a setback can be a blessing in disguise, so the true loves can be challenged by this aspect and come out stronger than before, while the ones that are not sincere will be washed away by the wave of Uranus doing some cleansing. Venus being conjunct Saturn on March 2 means there will be an equilibrium between mind and heart, and this will bring the collective to make wiser decisions.



Also, the lucky momentum for the economy and stock market will be highlighted. Venus will be conjunct Neptune on March 16 and there will be an overflowing of emotions, they will be felt more vividly, and intensely. Subconscious dreams and fears will come to the surface and will influence romantic energies of the collective, both in a positive and negative way. Venus then being conjunct Jupiter on March 28 will mark a very favorable time for everything, a lucky time to disfruit for everyone in the way they prefer, both in love and in finances… a day to be seized! in July 22, right after the entering of the Sun in Leo, Venus goes retrograde. So a summer to be looked at with attention, also caution with people you barely know, especially when the Sun is in Leo, there is a high risk of meeting narcissists, or people that can be delusional in love. Caution also from Oct 10, when Venus will be opposite Saturn. It will be only a couple days but there will be risk of arguments and misunderstandings in the couples. There is relief and a golden moment for love on Oct 29, when Venus is conjunct Mars. A big opening of a portal for twinflame reunions or progress, due to the cosmic union of the Divine Masculine and Divine Feminine.



Let’s now talk about what everyone fears, the retrograde Mercury. Y’all know now what Mercury retrograde means… blockages, small annoyances, technical problems and glitches at work and in the private life, malfunctioning of machines, delay in communications and messages and misunderstandings between people. This whole thing as every year will happen again the first time on April 21 ending in May 14, then on Aug 23 ending in Sept 15, on Dec 13 ending in Dec 27. But please don’t overestimate this transit. Mercury retrograde is just as common as life, things happen and now we’ve all got quite used to it; knowing it in advance one can prepare things, presentations, conferences, conversations etc with reasonable anticipation, as well as avoiding as much as possible misunderstandings in the couple and paying 2x attention to technology. It’s also a useful time to think once again of the choices made in the past and fix what has to be fixed. Saturn is like an old grandfather teaching lessons, sometimes in a blunt way, but Saturn only tells you what you need to hear, although it’s not always what you want to hear. Saturn is all about time, and sometimes time is all it takes to see your goals coming to fruition. Saturn will be retrograde on June 17 till Nov 4. Time for lessons here, re-evaluating the past, and especially, the way we spend our time, which is the most important thing we have. Knowledge and study are especially recommended in this period, it’s a great occasion for a big shift in awareness and a larger awakening. After this period of reflection the collective will feel spiritually upgraded. On the material side, though, this is not so great especially for the stock market and the trades in general. Be cautious with making great deals in this period because the economy in general is not that positive.



So, an important year of balance, reassessment, peace, tranquility. The two, nearly three years of pandemic are behind us, now we are ready to rest and breathe again, and calmly study to learn the important lessons that the planets will give us, along with some reassurance that will come this year and maybe hasn’t come for many years before.
